Default Original '95 ZR-1 Tires With 1850 Miles Use

I have a set of original tires I just took off my recently acquired ’95 ZR-1. I purchased the car last week with only 1,800 miles on the clock! The car had been kept in environmentally controlled storage by the previous owner/collector, so the tires still have full tread depth and look brand new. I certainly would not drive on 20-year-old tires, but someone could use these originals on a show-only car…someone like an NCRS type. Right now they are sitting in my garage and I’d like to get rid of them soon. $300 and buyer pays UPS shipping.

Don't know exactly, but I'll weigh them tonight and try to get an answer for you. I'm in Charlotte, NC and you're in New Jersey. I do know that when I was pricing four new Nitto 555 tires for my car from a tire suppier in California, the shipping price was $126. Considering you're closer to me it should be less. I'll post later when I've had a chance to weigh and get a UPS estimate. Thanks for your interest.

OK, I just weighed the tires. The total is about 120 lbs. (4X30 each) for all four tires. From zip code 28269 to 07823 UPS will charge about 90 dollars. Figure these tires will cost you $390 delivered to your door.

Somewhat off topic: Why Nitto 555 instead of NT05s? I'm about to replace tires on my '94 and wasn't certain which one to go with.

Default Nitto 555 vs NTO5s

I can't really answer that question. I've used the Nitto 555 tires very successfully on my '90 ZR-1, and they're still doing great and pleasing me in almost every respect. That's why I chose them for my newly acquired '95. My nephew who worked at Discount Tire back in 2011 recommended them to my for the '90, and he also put them on his '91 ZR-1. Perhaps that isn't a good reason, but that's all I have to offer. I have no experience with the NT05s, so for all I know they might be even better.
