1995 ZR-1 Valuation

Thanks for the advice and for the most part I fully agree. However, the windshield is very, very cloudy. I'm not a collector, so I'm going to drive this car treating it as a new car (that's 19 years old) rather than buying a new C7. This will be my third ZR-1 and I'm anxious to enjoy it. I can only do so, however, with a new windshield. The person doing the job is a specialist with Corvette windshields, having 30 years in the business. I'm sure it will be fine. It will not be a NOS Z windshield but that's the way I want it. If that devalues the car by 10K dollars or so, so be it. If I bought a new car it would be worth 10 grand less as soon as I drove it off the lot. Thanks again for your concern and your advice.

Congrats on the new car purchase,Joe! If it were me,I'd probably do it the same way you are. Looking forward to seeing photos of your ZR-1 at its new home.

Thanks!
Thank you, sir. I live in the South...Charlotte, North Carolina. The windshield may be installed today, and if so I just might have the car tomorrow. Early next week, however, is probably more likely. In any event, I'll post pictures of it at my house when it gets to its new home.

Maybe we will run into each other soon....would love to see it.
There is an NCRS meet in Boone sometime in September.

Thanks again!
Thanks guys. As you can no doubt tell, I love the C4 and especially the C4 ZR-1. As my third Z car, this "new" '95 will be used much like the first new Z I bought in 1990. In addition, like my '90, it will be in good company in my garage parked next to my old Porsche 911 Targa.
