Default FS front ZR1 A-molds, NY

This thread is actually to help my search for REAR A-molds.

I found a seller on LI who has a full set of true ZR1 A-molds (rims only). He is unwilling to split the set. The wheels are perfectly round, no bends or cracks etc, and have not been repaired. Finish is in OK condition, but if you're a true perfectionist like me, these wheels could benefit from a refinishing. Pics below. PM if interested, and I'll connect all three of us. $500 for the fronts.

If for any reason you do not buy the set, could you give me the contact information?

Hey Gordon:

I'd love to, but doing so will kill my only chance of finding them. I'll keep you posted.

Any chance you'd want an excellent set of AFS ZR1 wheels with the GS offset?

No the AFS wheels are fairly readily available. I'd like a set of the OEM though. Thinking of going with a set of Workmeister S1's if I can't find OEM A-Molds.

What are you two guys planning to install oem ZR-1 A-Molds onto? Do you own ZR-1's?
dayle97se,sounds like you need to grab that full set before someone finds them, then sell off what you don't need.

I want to upgrade from my GS-offset AFS ZR1 rear wheels. I recently acquired and painted a brand new set of GS fender flares. Waiting 'til I find a pair of rear A-molds to install the flares.

The seller of the full set of A-molds wants $1,000. Plus they need to be refinished ($140/wh = $380). Not to mention mount/balancing of the new tires, there's another $100. <-----$1,400-1,500 is a bit steep.

How is the 36mm offset going to work with those flairs?
All four wheels wouldn't have to be refinished, would they?
Only the rears, right? Why would you need to refinish those fronts if you're going to sell them, anyway?

OK, only 2 need to be refinished; true.

The 36mm will work nicely with the flares.
