Thanks for the info - looking at their website, however, they do not list the 4" high rise" that Toledo manufactured...oh well

FWIW,I would not want a 4" hood. I installed a TP 2 3/4" on my former 90 Z and it was tall enough.

Initially wierd to look over it from inside the car.
Now I'm used to it and like it. Also helps keep
the engine cooler.

Same here. I really liked the looks on my 90. Took some getting used to,though.
Funny,I never noticed your car had a TP hood on it,Ted. Guess they blend in better on a black car.

Just looked it up. Got it in the middle of 2010.

Thanks guys, for everything. I did manage to find a cowl hood for the ZR1 on Ebay, 2 3/4 rise, but I do not know the manufacture and the TP hoods just aren't made for the ZR1 by Acivett, even though they took over the molds.

The hood on that site is a Toledo Pro hood. The 2 3/4" is the way to go , 4" is much too high esp. for the street.
There is a @ 40 lbs weight savings with the T/P hood and rear vents.

SO they don't make any hi rise cowl hoods for the C4 at all?

FU - I thought it might be a TP hood, from the looks of it but wasn't real sure. Thanks for the comeback! Now I know it IS a TP hood

Jeff: Acivette makes all kinds of cowl hoods for everything BUT the C4 - go figure!

Here is the Ebay link to the hood I am looking at:
