None of the "newer" reproduction A molds are "deep lug" like the originals and early reproductions.

Just FYI

I have a set out in the garage. I'll check the weight tomorrow. I mentioned it because I've heard that after markets usually weigh more. Not sure why a few more pounds would matter

I likely have a set of GM/OE that I'll consider selling soon. The flanges are "perfect" no rash, no "tire-boy" mounting scars. I had considered a local sale and wasn't considering a ship of them but I might. If you're interested use the email link in my profile and contact me.

Dave,

Not A-Molds but I have a set of Gen 1 Dymag wheels in ZR-1 sizes. Never mounted or had tires mounted since Ye Ole Wheel refinished them. Both sets of center caps also. Just an option if you are interested.

Yup

When I found a set online "they" told me they were deep lug, but when they arrived they weren't. The "they" wasn't Ecklers, but I was shown a similar pic and what I got wasn't close.

I'd be happy if these from Ecklers were really deep lug...

I spoke with Gary at Ecklers and he informed me that these repros are supposed to be replicas, pretty close but not 100% otherwise GM would force them to pay a royalty and the wheels would cost more like $700 a piece. His explanation was that the spoke attachment point to the hoop is slightly different. We went over the concern about it being a deep dish for the rear wheel. If for any reason it wasn't, then I would get a full refund. I will report back if I go this route. From what I was told as to the shipping weight, it made it sound like the wheels are about 25 lbs a piece. This is my guess anyway. Not terribly heavier than stock.

If you want to see some knock off A-Molds theres plenty of cars that have them in C4 General.

Ok I went out to the garage and grabbed one the rear wheels. It weighs 21.5 lbs. did they quote the weight including the packaging? Maybe that's the difference.

And aw what the heck, I'm not sure why I need this extra set. Let me know if you want them and we can meet up half way between SF and SC to check them out and if you want them we can agree on a price
That is of course if the Ecklers don't meet your need.

The deep dish Ecklers wheels look like the real deal. I'd say go for it.

run true, no curbing, good paint.

I would also sell my polished A molds for 1200 if you prefer that finish
