Default 94 ZR-1 finally home.....

The ZR-1 is home, and happy to be under new ownership
Took my wife out to dinner last night and she also enjoyed the ride and commented how how good it rode and how comfy it is
So here are some pics, it looks good from far away, but up close many swirls, which I will have to polish out. Watched the Adam's video's and what they did to that black Jeep was amazing, much more intense swirls than mine, so I feel I can eliminate at least 98% of them, which will improve the overall look of the ZR-1.
The Vette runs out very good, shifter is as smooth as can be, and the power feels great, no stumbles or hesitations at all
So enjoy the pics, have alot of questions, which I will start a new thread for those......Tom

Thank you both....appreciated.....will even look better without the swirls

Can't spend to much time on it now, as I lost the passenger side glass of the t-top on the way to work friday night with the 82.......
Heard some extra wind noise going down the highway at about 60 mph and it was gone in no time.....lucky I have another set, but need the gasket to be replaced, have to get it done today..........

Again congratulations!

Don't know if this is your first C-4, but when I went from my beloved 79
L-82 to my first ZR-1 I vividly recall 3 distinct things.
1- How much more difficult the newer car was to get into.

2- How the new cars ride and handling made the C-3 feel more like my John Deere lawn tractor.

3- The incredible speed that the ZR-1 supplied so effortlessly.

These 3 things, even though one was bad, caused me to be forever disappointed whenever I set out in the 79, causing me to finally sell it, even though I loved its looks.

Enjoy your new car!

thanks......it is my second C4, had a 35th ANNIV back then.....yes agree with you on some.....but I have to say my 82 "dd" is no slouch by any means, especially the top end...... but it may have to go after all.....the ZR-1 is really a blast to drive, glad I maade the purchase........

I found a '91 needing a little work but dirt cheap at $13K. It is a '91 with 43,000 miles. The current owner is the second owner and has had it for two years and put on less than 1000 miles during this time. It develops a misfire after warming up that seems isolated to mostly the secondaries. It has the original fuel injectors so I am suspecting that is the problem. I have a new set of 16 injectors which I will install before driving it home. I am hopeful that solves the issue. The owner has already check the ignition and vacuum/secondaries and that was all fine. Other issues is: missing radio, drivers seat won't move, and a/c doesn't get cold.

The good: great paint, but not original color, probably cyber grey or spiral grey. tires are almost brand new. clutch and trans in great shape. B&B 3" cat back.

Pictures: but car is dirty

only thing is my wife said the following:
Wife: this is comfy
Wife: it rides really nice
Wife: people are starring
Wife: did you see the guy in that thuck? his head almost did a 360
Wife: I'm glad we bought this, it's better than an ordinary new car and more fun
Wife: I'm glad your keeping the the 74 Vert
Wife: Well, if you get the 82 interior back together, we can switch between the Vibe and the 82 so I can get to drive one.

Me: isn't great to own a ZR-1?????

I am not kidding, she did say all of the above, my wife went from you already have 2, to if that is what you really want, then lets do it , in a matter of two weeks. She is great to say the least, I can't say enough about her.
