Anyone have a J-38463 damper installer? :)
Yeah, I know, I haven't been around in a while, and when I do stick my head back in here, I'm asking for something. Well, for the last couple of years, my Z has been off the road as I've been procrastinating about putting the engine back together. Well, I've gotten a lot done but I'm stuck at the harmonic balancer, need the tool to get that thing on without damaging anything.
Side note: Who in their right mind would make a M16 x1.0 threaded anything let alone a crank bolt?! Yeah, sure, I thought I would just go out and get some threaded rod and make up my own after searching all over for a universal installer.... but NOooooo! Pure unobtanium!
Obviously I'll pay shipping and insurance, I wouldn't need it more than a couple of days. Just think, you'd be helping put another Z back on the road!

Harmonic Balancer Installer for LT5
Made my own harmonic Balancer Installer...the second installer.....I forgot what I made that one for
Just bought an extra USED Harmonic Balancer Bolt from Jerry Harmonic Balancer Bolt
Welded 1/2 inch threaded rod to end of Harmonic Balancer Bolt
The key is to weld the threaded rod on center of the bolt and ON CENTER LINE of the bolt.
