Default Mountain Run 2

Gentlemen, the course is set the hotels locked in at a guaranteed rate. All we need now are drivers that are not afraid of couple twisty turning roads.
Last year 9 members and friends embarked on the first ever mountain run just before the Bowling Green C4 gathering. This year we have the same type adventure planned if you like to drive your Z or Corvette on twisting roads.
Day 1 will consist of Diamond back, Blue Ridge Parkway and part of old miners 28.
Day two will consist of six gaps, old miners 28, Smokey mountains and tail of the dragon.
Day three will be the same as last year Devils triangle on our way to the Corvette Museum.

We are trying to keep driving down to 6 hours a day.
I will have more information on hotels and routes in the next day or so.

George Jones once again has been instrumental in helping in the planning of the mountain run.

I'm not fortunate enough to have a ZR-1 but since it is open to all I will be there with my '85. I already have rooms reserved.

I'll be there, restoration willing! I've never been on a trip with more than about 4 hours worth of twisties. Three days worth??? Oh, still my beating heart!

I'm in. May bring my Ruby instead of the ZR1 as the suspension was rebuilt and it's definitely tighter for twisties

Is this event still a go? I haven't heard a thing about it. I already have rooms reserved so if it is cancelled please let us know.
