Default Seat belt light does not turn off.

Does anyone else suffer from this problem? - my little red seatbelt light does not extinguish when I buckle up - I also noticed this in another ZR-1 (also a 90) I test drove. This is the only non functional item on my car and I was wondering if anybody had a run in with this? Can i fix this easily? i suspect a broken switch in the buckle.

Suspect the worse.....Air bag light. More than likely whomever owned the car got tired of seeing the air bag light on in the DIC and unplugged it. Your air bag light should come on when you start the car for a few seconds then disappear.

Hey guys (Jeffvette + 9TZR1), you were right on the money !! I thought that the "airbag" light did indeed cycle, until I noted in my owner's manual that the "INFL REST" light should illuminate upon cycling the key. Now - I appreciate that it looks like a pain in the azz to fix this warning light and get it to not illuminate, but first I have to figure out how to re-attach it, then i'll solve the sensor problem after that!! If anyone knows where the connection for the "INFL REST" light would have been detached, please drop me a line - and any other sites for further info would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys.
