Default Journey home for my new Admiral Blue zr1

The last admiral blue zr1 begins its journey today... from Calgary, Canada to Adidson, IL. and Haibecks shop. After some tuning and an engine refinish, its headed to Jupiter, Florida... and my garage.[IMG][/IMG]

Car arrived safely at Marcs shop today. Good news, he said after rest drive, car runs good. Some hesitation at full throttle. Likely coil issue, and cleaning out secondaries.

Now the tough part. Waiting 4 weeks to get my hands on it.

Getting ready to have a new to me 1990 Red ZR-1 just a little south of you in Miami. Has your car made it here yet?

Funny you ask. I picked the car up at Marcs shop today, and cruised with a smile on my face for 350 miles from Addison to Louisville, tonight. I am going to do a stop at Makers Mark tomorrow, and spend the afternoon at the NCM. I should be in south FL by late Saturday. I should have some pics tomorrow night.

Couldnt resist a few strategic stops on the way home from Addison.

Very nice!

I know it had to be hard waiting for it to be done ... now with the drive home the permagrin has begun

In your album you show the refinished LT5 which looks great ... did Marc do that?
