Tires?
Time to look for a new set of rubber for the 90. I currently run BFG comp TA's but they are getting a little dry rot and honestly I didn't really like them from day 1. I think the BFG's are one of the best looking tire for the Z but not at all impressed with their grip or ride.. they ride very stiff and unless the pavement is hot, they do not have overly impressive grip.
What is everyone running thses days? I will likely make a run to the U.S (Tire rack or?) to purchase a set as we in Canada pay huge $ for tires and we are limited to what is available.. especially for the ZR-1. Input appreciated.

Nitto 555's here. I'm not an expert but they seem to perform pretty well for a daily driver with occasional spirited driving. Quiet too. Purchased at Discount Tire-very reasonable and great service.

Not all tires are equal...just because it's a 335 doesn't mean more rubber on the ground.
My GSD3s were an inch wider than the same sized tire made by some German company...Vredsteins or something like that.

True, I run the Verdenstein's in stock size on mine. although the cross section is the same the tread is rounded on the sidewalls not flat like the Goodyear about 1" less tread contact to the road.

I just wanted to see if there is an eye level diff. from 315's to 335's. My buddy has a set of 315's on his camaro and I have 285's on mine and I have just as much rubber on the ground as he does. I agree brands have alot to do with it but so does rim width. I am tossing around the idea of putting the saw blades in the corner and putting 18's or 19's on the car, then you have to get bigger brakes for the right look. My Z just doesn't have any respect for the GS 315's and with upgades and gears on the way I would like to see different options. I would like to see photos of say a 12 inch rim with 345's on a Z see how the fittment is. It's all in the photos so help me out fellas, thanks all.
