Default FX3 Applications 90-91 and 92 and later

My Technical Expert (TE) just mentioned to me.......
In regard to applications of FX3 Shocks 90-91 and 92-later (adapting 92' and later FX3s to 90'-91' application).......
I am thinking you can't just change out the gear on a 92 FX3 top as entire rod needs to be changed to adapt to a 90-91 application due to the valving holes. You can use 92 FX3s in 90-91 Application if you upgrade to the newer controller.

So, after 8 months how do you feel about the Delta Vee rebuild?

Just noticed your post a few minutes ago. I have no complaints. By the time I finished putting her back together around September 1st, I was dealing with a power steering pump issue of my own making. By the time I resolved the power steering issue, it was late November going into December and time to put her up for the winter. I was pretty busy this spring and it just tailed off about a week ago. I just took her for a spin up to my parents house which is about a 2 hour round trip on the turnpike and she drove great. It rained on the way back. She drives a heck of a lot better before the rebuild. Shocks look okay..no signs of leaking oil.
Bad *** on the twisties also. I have GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 GS-D3 on all four corners.

Even my wife noticed last year how much better she drove.

Here's another shop that can rebuild Bilsteins that has an excellent reputation for quality work. I talked to one of the owners and was very impressed.

If I remember correctly,Frank, the cost to rebuild my shocks was around $75-$85 each, with a 2-3 day turnaround.
