Default Chip location?

I think there's a chip installed but I want to verify this. I don't need to turn the power key on to have full power and the cags light doesn't come on. Is it behind the glove box and if so any tips on removing it?
Thanks in advance,
Joe

The Chip is under the ECM in front of drivers side under hood. Loosen the ECM and flip it over without disconnecting electrical plugs. There are 4 small screws to remove Chip access cover. The Chip can then be removed by flipping the tabs on both ends.

This applies to both the C4 ZR1 with LT5 and C4 Corvette with L98.
I have two of Marc's chips for both LT5 and L98 (one for 87 Octane fuel and one for 91 Octane fuel) for each

A complete discussion of Chips can be seen on Marc Haibeck's web site.. Haibeck Automotive Technology

Specifically, click on this link on Marc's web site for a PDF document.......

What You Need to Know to Get the Right Calibration for Your LT5 Engine

In that document you will see photos of the ECM with the Chip cover removed.

Make sure you disconnect the battery first.

I did take a look at it and it looks like the one in the photo. It has a Corvette Specialist sticker on it and was installed in Oct. 94.

I think you're probably right and I noticed they're in California where the original owner lived. I'm not sure who installed the chip if it was the owner or a company. It did have someone's name on a sticker, it was J Pallin dated 10/3/94. That may be the owner at the time, but I'm not sure.
Thanks Again,
