How much do you think an entire used system would bring these days?

I know I would pay top dollar for one.......I bought 4-5 of these in the 90's and have left a message with the gentleman who made these......If he responds I am going to see how many he would need to make them again.......

I was kicking around parting out the mods on my 368 car and putting her back to stock... She has the Forced Air on her. I think i could be way ahead with this car if I did. The other option was to turbo charge it and install my LPE Aero Body kit... Not sure yet... Spend or make money, that is the question!

It was my good fortune to find a complete system that was in good shape for about $250. That was back in 2004 and since then it has never given me any problems.

Anybody ever do any real world testing on a ZR1 with one of these kits? I have a kit I bought back in like 2002 sitting here I'm just not sure the gains are worth installing it.

Not really. What year is your kit for? I dont remember anybody buying up the dyno time to just test that mod

The kit does help under WOT, especially above 60MPH.......If you decide to sell, I would pay you top dollar......Thanks.....

I don't know if anyone without a dyno inside a wind tunnel could effectively dyno test the A/O system. The sportbike manufacturers have been claiming additional power from their forced air systems for years. The upper echelon of the Bonneville folks know a thing or two about ram air and how much speed it takes to get anything significant from it. If I recall correctly it seems to me nothing much happens until you get up around 150+ mph

Do you want to sell that kit?

One of the Corvette mags did a drag test way back when they first came out. No dyno numbers but, as I remember, it cut about a tenth (.10) off the quarter mile time of an LT-1 powered C4. That's what got me to buy one.
I put it on my stock motor car, along with a number of other bolt-ons, and managed to get up to 117mph trap speed in the quarter mile. Which is not too bad for a 91'.
But you certainly can't feel, or hear, any difference.
