FS 1990 ZR-1 NCRS McLellan Award Winner
We have really enjoyed living in Hilton Head, SC for almost 9 years but will be moving to the Seattle area to be close to our families. We put our house up for sale with little expectation that anything would happen but to our surprise, it sold in 4 weeks at a reasonable price. We will be closing and departing at the end of November.
Unfortunately a Corvette in downtown Seattle is not ideal so we are looking at selling it. If you know of anyone who might be interested in my car, please have them call me.
This is the ad I placed on the ZR-1 Registry. I am asking $18,500 which I think is a very reasonable price..
1990 Corvette coupe ZR-1, Red/Red with 58,000 miles. Original sticker price over $60K. Three time NCRS Top Flight Award winner. PV and McLellan Award, in 2008. This is NCRS’ top award so it is certified 100% stock except now with a new high capacity aluminum radiator, plug wires, Heibeck chip, starter motor relay, new injectors and windshield. Original radiator, plug wires and tires included. 375 hp DOHC 32 valve aluminum engine, 6 speed, two tops, factory service manuals and all the ZR-1 features and documentation. Recent oil service, coolant and brake fluid flush. new brake lines and pads. Show car with numerous awards but driven regularly.

Sorry you have to sell your Z. And I believe you are right that it is a very reasonable price. I hope it sells as fast as your house did

I had a starter relay installed by South Georgia Corvette and that has solved the problem completely. This is a big relay mounted near the battery and not just the little one under the dash. While they were at it, I had them replace the starter but I don't think that was the problem. Before this, I had no-start about two or three times a year but it always was very frustrating and inconvienient. I have not had the problem since the work was done in 2008.
Last weekend was the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club car show in Charleston, SC. The weather was great and there was a good turnout of about 150 cars.

Welcome to the great PNW. Do not get rid of it! I have been driving a C4ZR1 and now a C5Z here daily since '01. Whatever has you convinced to sell is not true if you have not lived here. I moved here from Jax Fl in late 90's and have not given up my vettes.

Thanks for the welcoming note. I have had interest but no offers so far. I may be shiiping the ZR-1 and keeping it for sunny days out there.
