Interchangeability of parts (90' L98 and 91' ZR1)
I have both a 90' L98 and a 91' ZR1. I know many parts are interchangeable. This includes the tops, ZF6-40 transmissions (with a small modification including shorter input shaft and guide tube) and many other interior parts.
Are the Seats interchangeable?
Is the interior carpet interchangeable? If so, which carpet pieces?

All of them (the pieces) fit, according to Mid America. I just bought a complete set, had intended to install it before BG, but pulled something in my back while doing the carpet last Saturday on Ami's Vette. Sooooo...I'll have to recover before getting around to finding out for sure. But, I laid the pieces out, and they look to be good to go. The rear cargo area fit perfectly, which if any were not going to fit, that would be the piece, logically speaking. I'll get back to ya!

Cliff the seats and carpet are interchangeable. The only difference in the carpet was when they went from Mass backed to The Truvette I believe in the 94-96 time frame.
Truvette carpet was differnt for the following reasons
TruVette carpet is 100% solution dyed nylon. This means that the yarn is manufactured to a specific color & does not require dying.
TruVette carpet is tufted on a 1/10 gauge machine, which gives it the plush look & feel.
TruVette carpet contains 14 ounces of material per square yard.
It is tufted into 72" rolls & can be heavy rubber latex or polyethylene backed.

That is great news
How about the inner door panels which match the carpet color?
Will the 90' Corvette (L98) inner door panels fit on a 91' ZR1?
How much time would you guess it would take to make a complete change in carpet color including seats, door panels, and ALL other carpet in a 91' ZR1 (assuming I do not hurt myself)
I assume this includes the two covers for the storage compartments behind the seats as well as the panel below the glove box and some other panels under the dash?

Any suggestions and about how long does it take?
Are the door panels of a 90' L98 the same as the door panels of a 91' ZR1.....apparently everything else is identical between the two including the seats

the Following pieces are glued:
Console Sides
Lower Hush on Drivers side
Lower Hush on Passenger side (put of dash pad)
Door Sills
Front speaker grilles ( part of Door Sill)
Hope that helps

I am not so sure I want to take on swapping those glued items. It sounds like they cannot be recovered and reused. I am wondering if hair dryer would soften the glue

I have to look at the sills again but what I think you are saying is the sills can be removed without having to mess with the glue items. What you are saying actually is that I do NOT have to remove carpet from any part...just exchange the part
