Tore off the plenum and injector housings to go off to Jim Milstead. :D Will be with out the car for a month, but I think it will be well worth it. just hope I can remember where everything goes :eek:

It is kinda late for you now... However, my habit is to get a chunk of cardboard... lets say we are doing the water pump, I draw a crude sketch of the pump... then poke holes in it in the appropiate places to diagram out where every nut, bolt, and other important piece comes from... I also write notes on the cardboard to help me remember stuff... like when parts need to be assembled loosely till everything is in place, then do the final tightening... I also have multi colored phone cable wires for marking lines as the come apart... real simple, pull out a blue wire, cut in half, wrap each loose end of the wire or hose... next hose or wire, use a different color... I don't mean to over simplify, some stuff will not need this kind of detail, but it beats fighting the onset of brain fade at times... the older you get, the longer between reassembly, and the more beers you drink, the more important documentation becomes... :-)
Don't forget the anti-sieze when appropiate...
Just did a motor swap on a 91 Lincoln... then had to do the water pump 2 days later !!! AARRHHH !!!!

It's always good to catalogue the parts, keeps eveyrhting nice and need. I broke out the plastic ziplock bags and some labels. So everything is taken care of. Just looks really, really bad.

I did have at one time but I deleted them. I'm trying to clean out all my accounts before I get laid off. I will try and get a copy again and post them to the forum here. On an otherwise completely stock car it was 25 hp and I forgot the torque figure.

Is the 25HP gain you mentioned at the wheels or at the crank? Also, does this sort of modification have a negative effect of the cars resale value in the furure? (ie. 10+ years)

I don't think any modifications will have an effect on the future price of ZR-1s as long as it remains stock in appearance. I am saying this from a perspective that in the future (30 years from now) people will be buying ZR-1s just like they buy C2s, stock appearing. Who cares what is inside?

Also the 25 HP was at the wheels.
