I didn't see anything mentioned about whether it would run or not. Gas tank wasn't full and we know what that can lead to when stored for long periods, regardless of climate control!!

Nice car. Looks like a time capsule. The seller showed close-up pictures of everything except that corrosion on the throttle body cover plate.

Wow! That is impressive. Instant NCRS champion. The only ZR-1 I'd pay that kind of money for would be Wills LPE TT 385 one of a kind. I believe that one is the baddest ZR-1 on the planet. 75mph to 152mph in about 4.5 sec is wicked hairy scary fast. http://s301.photobucket.com/albums/n...ll_385_TT2.flv

I like how the vehicle history report thing craps out, I wonder if it's still on the MSO. Pretty neat car, but it is gonna take a special kind of buyer at that price.

It's a good reference for how stuff is supposed to look in our cars. I'd say my car is about 75% compared to that.

Feel sorry for the guy..he never got to enjoy his. He let it sit for 20 years and still barely got his sticker back. Heck he prob paid more than 75 for it back in the day.

Interesting, that car is #2320 only 21 after mine, #2299. Cool to be able to see what they looked like just out of the factory.
One thing I noticed is that the metal portion of the oil cooler lines is all black. I thought they were all silver? Maybe the paint just falls off easy...

That is what it was like on the originals. The replacement lines are not painted black. I believe the changeover was for '93, but I'm not 100% about that. Most cars have the silver lines because the oil cooler lines are so failure-prone.
