There are approx. 30 of these cars around, maybe 35.
There was one for sale not too long ago. Someone said he took it off the market. They do not come up for sale very often.

It might still be for sale. Sunnsurf on another post yesterday said it was no longer posted in the for sale section of the ZR-1 net.

I'm pretty good friends with Hal, and we communicated on the status of the car over the weekend. He still has it, and while I don't want to speak for him, he mentioned the listing on the Registry simply lapsed. That said, I didn't get the feeling he was too hot on selling it (I'm not sure he ever was). I can promise you he is not going to give the car away (even though some would argue his price is close to that now). He does lurk on the forum, so maybe he will respond to this thread.

Yes, mine is still for sale, although as Brian points out, apparently I haven't been trying all that hard - my listing lapsed on the zr1netregistry.

http://www.zr1netregistry.com/ZR1_sale.htm

See it there, or search for 415 in the C4 For Sale forum.

cheers,

Hal

Beautiful car. I remember back in the day exciting posts from LIMEY.
Is he still on the board?

Someone had some questions about driveability and idle quality, so I had the video camera out a week ago. Here's a taste...try it with headphones on...

Only some of the earlier members will know/remember what I'm talking about, right Hal?

You had to have been there to follow the ordeal, kept me amused for months.....

I bet his wife wasn't, (still isn't, for that matter) too amused by it... Reading it online was funny enough, but hearing him tell the story face to face is another dimension in humor...

Brian,
With no house or woman - you need a 415.

We would all be envious. :-)
