Re: The nickle trick on film. (90 Corvette ZR-1)
much more impressive than balancing the stack of wine glasses on the lexus commercial.
the LT5 is truely a "jeckyll and hyde" monster. docile at idle, and a beast at WOT. I'm going to try this but even with fresh plugs I don't think my engine is that smooth.

One thing's for sure, I could never do that on my engine! :nonod: I'd have a hard time balancing a tennis shoe on mine at an idle!

Re: The nickle trick on film. (BiZ)
I tried this on my 95, funny story. we found that the engine got a little smoother at about 1400-1600 than at the 650 idle (engine was still cold).
none of us could find a nickel, so we used a penny!!!
the penny was hard to balance but it stayed up for about 5 seconds before toppling over. I couldn't believe it. try it!!!
so now you can do this trick 4 cents cheaper with an even more difficult to balance coin!!!
cya :yesnod:

you should. I have a 90 DRM 450 ZR1 for sale. check out the C4 adds. car puts 372 to the wheels!!! it flat out flies. 25K to see the world through a screaming face every time you turn the key. cheap price of admission for the most amount of fun you can have with your clothes on.
