Default Any Thoughts?

I put my 94' ZR-1 up for sale on this site and have had 160+ hits w/o a call. Not that big of deal I guess but I thought for sure someone would call and BS about it.

Is the market for ZR-1's down? I have followed the listings of ZR-1's for sale for years now and thought I had a good feel for the price of these cars. Now I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

Cars don't seem sell well on this site. the only cars I've seen move here were give aways. I've had good luck with the Chevy/Vette trader.

I think it's a buyers market out there. Not a good time for sellers. The C5 prices are in the all time low and the new cars dealers are making incredible deals. I feel that the ZR-1 market is shrinking as C5 and ZR-1 prices overlap. Good time to buy a second one. Just my two cents. :seeya

I agree with Cam, Joe. Your car is too nice not to get some serious interest (unless you're asking the moon). Most Forum buyers expect you to give your car away.

Ain't that the truth Clint--I went through the same thing trying to unload my '01 Z06 on the Forum, some people were expecting to buy it for less than wholesale

Within the last year I sold one of the 2 GNX's I had. I advertised on Hemmings and Yahoo. I sold the car in 2 weeks and got my asking price of $40K. All inquiries came from Hemmings.

I kinda sold on them.

love the GNX almost as much as the ZR1. those little turbo v6s crank!!!

my daily driver is a Turbo T (87) making 600 Hp. very streetable.

nice car Luigi, has anyone got much experience in modifying the callaways for around 700 HP??? seems like if I can get 600 HP from a bent 6, 7-800 from a stout small block should be cake.

thanks for any info (drooling over twin turbo vettes) :yesnod:

One of the Texas guys said a little while ago that you can't squeeze much more out of a Callaway due to the pipe and intercooler sizes being near their limit. If you have a B2K and want more power you have to replace a few things with larger items as I understand it.

I'd like to do a TT Vette as well (only in an L98). I intend on making it happen but it probably won't be in the near future.

Actually the turbo's on my Callaway are only doing 12.5 psi of boost. You can crank up the turbo's some though I suspect the comments about the piping to be correct. I keep both my GNX and the Callaway in stock form. They are not trailer/garage queens. I drive them both and enjoy the heck out of them.

Thanks,

Luigi
