Has anyone sent their bose radio/speakers to bose for the 75 bucks that was listed on the zr1.net website?how did it go?
If my bose head unit is getting power but the speakers make a squilling noise,
is this an indicate of the head unit needing replaced? meaning i could just swap an after market one in?
Or indicative of speakers?
Speaker amps are bad - doctordons.com repairs them for $75.00. I recommend their service.
I've used them twice and I guarantee you, that they will exceed your expectations ( might be a little strong ;-) )
The point is without hesitation, I use Dr. Don.
Does anybody have, any instructions for removing the amps, so i can troubleshoot which ones are bad and send off to him?
Thanks!

A few years ago, I sent all my speakers direct to Bose for repair and I recommend them highly. They replaced all the speakers and the amp boards and it now has a lifetime warranty (to the original owner).
I recently sent the head unit to Dr. Don's to repair the CD. I recommend him highly as well.
