Road Trip-Pickup Morrison World Challenge Car
Leaving this afternoon for the road trip to FL to pickup the 1990 Morrison World Challenge car hulk. My wife's making fun of me. She hasn't seen me this excited about getting another Corvette in a long time...and bringing home another Corvette isn't exactly uncommon around here.
I can't wait to get it home and start working on it. I plan on bringing it to the C4 bash in BG this May and then to Carlisle for the Corvette Race Car Reunion in August. With any luck, I'll have it running by then....maybe. Time & $$$$$.
You ZR1 guys have really got me fired up! Thanks Tyler!!!

There is a drivetrain that can be bought but it's not original to the car. I'll probably buy a 1990 six speed car and cannibalize it for everything needed to bring it back to life. It will be a fun build. I have a good idea of the original paint scheme and decals and have contacted a Mobil1 sales rep who is helping me acquire the Mobil1 decals for the entire car. Tom Bell, of Tom Bell Chevy is also helping me with what he can for pics and decals.
I do need two front Dymag wheels. I'm getting two rear wheels with the car.
I'll post pics of the restoration. I am building a website "Blue Flame Restorations.com". Once the website is up and running, I'll have many pics of past and present projects as well as parts that I reproduce for the 53-55 cars.

After it was wrecked by Heinricy, it was doomed to the corner of the shop where it was stripped for another 99 car to campaign in it's place.
It was bought by a fella in FL so it could be restored but his plans changed and he is selling it to me. Lucky me!!

Once the 53 sells, I'll pickup a 90 6 speed car and use it as a parts donor car, for sure. They seem to be cheap, even for a pretty nice one.
