Default Looking to buy, need help.

Sup guy's. Im looking at a 1990 Vette. It looks real nice, 6 spd, 75,000miles, side pipes, I really like it. I love Vettes, My old man has a 04 Z06 LeMans that is a great car. I'm very familiar with the LS series motors, but dont know jack about the C4 motors. All I know is there a 5.7 lol.

I own a 00 Cadillac STS which I say is a 4 door Vette! I love my car but it's a pain to maintain. I'm comming up on some problems and since it's a cadillac, I have to pay someone else to fix it,

My questions are is the C4 vette a good car? How do they hold up? what are some common problems for them and if it blows a HG is that something you can do yourself or do you have to drop the engine out like in a Cadillac? Thankyou for your input guys, here's a link to the Vette Im looking at.

C4 General section that is.......
(unless this happens to be a 90 ZR-1) The standard L98 vette is easy to fix, but repairs and restoration can be very expensive if you have to have someone else do it. Price wise and performance wise, you would be better off stepping up to the 92-96 LT-1 vettes. JMO
