Default Stock wheel sizes????

Came across some wheels for sale that owner says are from a ZR1:
tells me the wheel sizes are 16 x 9.5 and 17 x 11, wheels are silver and look to me to have the 96 Collector Edition center cap.

Is this the correct sizes or is this guy just clueless??

Thanks,
LannyL81

Front should be 17x9.5, 17x11 for rear is correct but make sure rear offset is 36mm not 50mm as the Collector Edition is.

I hate to ask this endlessly ask question, but:
Just so I get this correct:
the rear offset for a ZR1 is 36mm..???
the front offset for a ZR1 is ????

I know the offset for my 96 CE, but not the ZR1.
If the front ones have the same offset I could use them. The rear ones would be nice to have but the offset would set the tire too far out of the wheel well for my liking.

Also, did the ZR1 come with silver wheels or are these actually off a Camaro or something else?

Thanks again

The front offset is the same for both-56mm. The ZR-1s are silver, but some Camaros may have come with similiar.

I went through this about a month ago when I purchased a set of Factory Reproductions in black. I can't remember what the front offset was but I can check when I get home. I know for a fact that the correct offset for the rear is 36mm and the backspacing is 7.4 inches.

Like I said, I have the front information at home but the rear was the question for me so that information is ingrained into my head. Be careful with internet searches because I found conflicting offset information (for the ZR-1 rear) out there.

This was a helpful tool that WVZR-1 posted up; http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/info_specs.jsp

When I get home I'll check the offset and backspace for the front wheels and post it up.

Are the Factory Reproductions deep lug?

Yup, I have some pics I can post up when I get home. If you search for my threads you can probably find where I posted previously. I don't have any tires mounted yet but I snapped a few of the rim when it came out of the box.

The Factory Reproductions are the correct size and offset but a few pounds heavier.

Lanny heres a pic of the 36mm ZR-1 wheel offset. If the wheels are stamped GM on the front they are Camaro wheels and the wrong size. You would not want to go much further than a GS offset of a 50MM on the rears and they would still stick outside the rear fenders.

The backspacing on my factory repro's for the front is 7.34. I think that is roughly a 54mm offset. So would imagine the real deal A-Molds are in that neighborhood.

Here are some pics of the rears I took a while back. Like I said, I still haven't laid down the $$ to buy tires. Maybe in the spring when the rain stops.
