Default Need Alternator

My Z is in the shop right now . . . needs a new alternator . . . where is a good source for the most reliable alternator for a 90

Alternators are also very easy to overhaul. Its very inexpensive to do, and no special tools are really needed sans a soldering gun. If youre not up to doing that, look for a starter/alternator repair shop in the area. Its the second least expensive way to do it, and may even be able to be returned to you faster than waiting for shipping from out of state.

That's what I do for any alternator/starter I have. If I can't get parts to do it myself, I have a place in town that will repair it while I wait. Check your area for any starter/alternator rebuild shops.

I've had several rebuilt by a local service. Usually a half day turn around. A good way to go.
