I have a 94 with service LTPWS that has stayed on for the last month.
The tire sensors were removed about a year ago, with no problems until now.
can anyone help to figure out how to fix it.
I think the only way to fix it is to remove the bulb in the Drivers Information Display. It isn't too hard. I am surprised that the system light did not come on right away when the sensors were removed.
Remove the blub from the DIC. Since you removed the wheel sensors the light will always stay on until it either burns out or it is removed. Only MYs 90 and 91 will allow you to pull the wheels sensors with out the light coming on. Im amazed it didnt come on sooner unless you havent driven it much since removing the wheel sensors.

thank for the info ,i will try to put the sensor back on , i need to get one more it was damage
one question i have a 91 zr1 in the garage next to the 94 would the 94 pick up the sonsor from the 91
To get to the bulb, you need to undo the shift plate around the shift lever. It has three screws. With it lifted, you can unscrew the leather shift boot and unplug the lighter and rear hatch release button. After that you remove the center air outlet grill and undo the three screws holding the radio trim plate. Pull the plate off and unplug the Full Power Switch wires. Finally you unscrew the Drivers Information Display and pull it out. The LTPWS warning light is on it's own wire and unplugs from the back.
Anyone planning to work on their car should get an official GM Service manual. I think Corvette Central and others has them.

thank angel
No Angel they wont work as they run on a different frequency. The 89-91 are the black bodied sensors for the LTPWS and the 92-96 are white bodied sensors. While they function the same and fit the same way on the tire band with the counterweight they are different. You can not mix and match. GC

Peter answered this question pretty well the only thing I could add would be that two screws are underneath the console cover and the other screw is undeneath the cup holder. Slide it back to reveal the two lower screws for the radio surrround. Remove the top ac vent screws and the top mount for the radio surround is underneath. Pull at the center of the radio surround as two metal clips hold it into postion. The DIC is right above and just as Peter states. GC
