My two cents, get them from anywhere except gmpartsdirect.com. They have zero customer service, not even a phone number you can call. You can get similar pricing from several other online places, P&G Chevy, Tom Henry, and others. But you can call them and talk to them.

Is this the 1990 pump that was previously discontinued? Or what is the reason we should now "get them while we can"? Thanks!

Gotcha, partszoneonline.com is P&G Chevy. Is there a reason to think the '91+ will dry up? Have they been discontinued by GM? I'm just wondering if something happened to prompt this, or if it's the same situation as always. Any part for a C4 could dry up, just trying to understand if there is something different about this than any other part on our cars.

From what I understand this has been Disc from G.M. for a ZR-1,this pump I have is for a full size Zodiac Topkick truck, basically the same pump.

That pump is a very generic pump used in all GM MD trucks and it "happens to" be a direct replacement for the '91+ cars. This information has been out there for maybe near 3 years or longer. I've sent a couple to people maybe as long ago as 5 years. I do some MD work and I just happened to stumble onto it doing a MD truck repair before I even owned my '90 car. For a '90 car all that's required is a connector and I've posted that information before.

The information I believe has also been at the "registry" for quite some time. Would I rush to buy one? No!
