Default Pictures of new wheels - finally

I purchased a set of used Fikse FM-5 wheels on the forum a month ago and finally got the wheels mounted. I had to take a vacation day from work just to get the car cleaned up and snap some pictures. Don't know where the time goes, but it seems there is less of it each day!!

Anyway, here are some pictures of the new wheels. Enjoy!

So what is the dealeo with my pictures?? I finally got pictures and I have no clue how get them up on this site. Crap!!!

Maybe this will work..........

Those red Xs look sweet.

Looks like it has something to do with your host, and having to log in to it.

Class Z! I have the same year and color....

Those wheels really set it off! Nice choice

Here are my new Black Chrome (OEM wheels) Question: keep the black chrome or regular chrome? Or Satin?

LOOking good !

ps ....be real gentile with the Fikses. Use plenty of clean water and soap. Also pat them dry or they will scratch.

Default Use Micro

I have polished A-molds just looking at them the wrong way will scratch them, I discovered one day while detailing my baby useing a high quality micro fiber towel "not the ones at discount store" I get mine thru Griot's garage their $10.00 each.
You can ruby all you want NO scratches just always mist with detailer spray first .Never wipe them dry as the dust thats on them is what will scratch your wheels.

To really finish off the look of these Bad azz cars you need to add a set of custom ZR1 center caps from Carter, (Carter200 ) on this forum.
I attended a car show last month and I could over hear the judges talking about my center caps. They thought thet were limited production GM. I'm not good with posting pics but contact Carter and I'm sure he would be more than happy to send you some pics.

I vote for the Black Chrome. My number 1 choice were the Fikse if I could find a set that I could afford. My #2 choice was the Black Chrome. My #3 choice was the Black GS wheels if I could find a set with the proper offset. Luckily I fould my #1 choice that was in my price range.

I think your right. In two months, she will be put to bed for the winter. Looks like I will have some fun projects for winter hibernation!

Has anyone painted their calipers? Color suggestion? Red?

Mine are PCed red 96 GS calipers. The abutment brackets are PCed Black and the rotors front and rear are Baer Eradispeeds which are zinc washed. Would finish off the wheel area nicely. GC
