skunker,
I've noticed that you haven't joined in on the "chorus of the elders", but I did want to make clear that it was not my intent to either discourage others or minimize the value of your aerobody kit. Maybe you realize that unlike some of our "senior" citizenry around here.
However, on the chance that it isn't clear, I'll offer you my apologies if I caused you any loss of interest or a sale. Perhaps I should have asked how you would have compared the LPE to the Callaway aerobody. Did you consider the Callaway and if so, why did you select the LPE? Maybe that wouldn't have been "considered" hijacking by the elders.
"...Because a junior member agrees with you doesn't make it right."
A26, just being a "senior member" doesn't give you any more stroke than anyone else.

I appreciate Jerry saying something about the thread and I would have done the same for him. I was not able to read some of the things posted until tonight. Again it helped keep my post near the top and hopefully someone seeing it that may be interested in it, but I posted this item here because it is ZR-1 specefic and will not fit on any other C4. I didn't ask for your opinion on wether you liked it or not or liked one over the other, I simply want to offer it for sale.

Mark,
I hope I get the opportunity to see one in person at BG. Perhaps we will get to meet as well. As unwelcomed as my opinion may have been, I am glad you felt it was a positive for your post and not a negative.
But we digress.

What an awsome and rare kit! I was hoping to see it on the new hot-rod. How close until it's out?
I'll be up there next week with my white car (on a trailer) from A26B's place. I'll try to get in touch with you. Ted

Ted, what day are you coming up? I hope it is before the 1st. I am going to be in Key West the 2nd through the 6th but would love to have you and Caroline over for dinner. I hope to have my old car back by the end of April, but we'll just have to see how it goes, it is extremely close I believe. Talk to you soon, Mark

Steve, thanks for calling me back the other day, I was trying to see if you were going to make it to Birmingham a few weeks back. Let me know if you run into somebody at John's that might be interested in the body kit. I am going to be driving through on the 18th of April, maybe you'll have time to show me the rest of your collection. Thanks Mark

I sent you a PM. Sorry for the delay in getting back, I'm in Key West fishing until next week and have limited access to the internet. The kit does not say Lingenfelter on the back of it like Jerry's does it is just smooth. From what I understand there was only 4 kits made with LINGENFELTER across the back. Let me know if you are still interested. Thanks Mark

I have a complete ZR-1 Lingenfelter body kit available for 3,800.00 plus shipping. The kit is located at Lingenfelter and will ship from their warehouse in Indiana. I decided not to use it and had Tim at Lingenfelter write the following description for me. You can contact me at 706/506-9056 or through my email or IM account here.
http://www.lingenfelter.com/pack_cor_c4bk.htm
Lingenfelter ZR1 Body Kit - 1990-1995 Corvette ZR1
This is the last ZR1 body kit produced for Lingenfelter by Motorsports Composites in 2007. The design of the molds produced fiberglass parts that require considerable prep work prior to painting unlike the current C6 body kit components offered by Lingenfelter. Typical prep, paint and installation cost would be between $6,000.00 - $8,000.00.
This is a very rare package for the right ZR1 owner that would not mind having some time and expense to do the install. There were only 2 complete cars built at LPE with this body kit. The red car in the pictures was the first one done it was a 1993 ZR1 and is still owned by the original customer from Indiana which included a 415 CID engine package. The second was a black 1995 ZR1 which also included a 415 CID engine and was built for a customer from Pennsylvania. LPE also sold a few complete kits sold un-installed and a few rear fascias.
