The security light blinking when you get in doesn't rule out a VATS problem. Does the light come on when you turn the key?

Do you have two keys for the 90? Do you know the security code for the key?

I don't think you have to clear it, just wait 5 minutes and try again with the right key. If the light was on, it's a VATS issue. That's what code 46 is also.

Security lamp on or blinking usually indicates a Vats problem ( Dirty key, bad contacts, etc,). Wait 5 minutes and try again.

It's not how many volts you have at the battery that counts, it's how many you have at the starter. Locate the big purple wire in the harness below the ECM, and test it. If it's under 10.5 volts, you have found your issue.
