Default June 2011 Bloomington Gold Auction to have 1971 ZR2

May be the same one discussed earlier in this thread...it is a 1971 ZR2 convertible in Ontario Orange (shown in picture with the hardtop on).

It will be auctioned off at 2:50Pm on June 25, 2011.

Here is the link to the Mecum webpage showing the car: http://content.mecum.com/vo/?FileID=...ailID=18326519

Got the Email thread three hours ago. It is a beautiful car. This will be the third time I see this car at Bloomington. I dont think the owner will get the original 550,000 that it sold for three or four years ago. If I remember correctly it sold at Bloomington gold back in 97 when the show was in Bloomington, Illinois for 375,000.00
I dont Know for 550,000 I think I would 6 or 7 different stallions in my garage.

Callaway B2k speedster, LPE TT ZR1, LPE 415, DSOM Z06, Callaway Sledgehammer
Okay so it is only 5 cars and that list would be roughly 800,000 but there is nothing wrong with dreaming.

I doubt that this car will pull $250k in today's market. 53's were upwards of $450k 3-4 yrs ago. Now hard to pull much over $200k for a fresh example.

Buyers market for sure.

Well, so much for a buyer's market, at least when it comes to a true rariety. This baby sold for $410,000 on June 25, 2011:

Sold Price: $410,000
