Sanjay looks good. Love those cars. However you will need to add a whipple to that thing so it can be faster than the ZR-1.

Thanks guys.

JC: Whipple is in the works....right now both my Z's could easily handle the stock GT.

Glenn: I'll be out there after the mods are done. Stock, I doubt if it would see 180. Gotta beat the 415 ZR-1's best of 184.5 mph. Whippled cars seem to be capable of 190+ mph.

Man, my hope is that those cars values drop like a rock so someday I can afford one. The Ford GT is the only Ford product that's turned my head, and the only instance of "retro" style that I felt was a good idea. What a cool car!

Doesn't look like that's happening any time soon. I was waiting as well, but the prices are already heading up, and between Ford's financial woes and reportedly >10% of the cars having already been wrecked, demand is outpacing supply by a significant margin.

My particular car is extra rare, being quicksilver (an '05 only color, only 150 made) and a no stripe car, which is rarer still. Probably one of about a dozen made.

Amen to that. One of my all time favorites especially in in the Gulf colors.
