buying futures for a part for our ZR1's? Is it because someone glommed all but 2 of 100 lot? Now to buy it now you must prepay for a future shipment?

How long has this ship been going on for our cars?

I presume you are talking about fuel pumps?

I believe that is for the whole assembly, the fuel pumps are available fairly cheap. But yes, that's what its come to. Buying the lot for less than .10 on the dollar, and then reselling for 100% markup over list.

Dealer cost on the fuel pump assembly is 836.37. The big thing this will correct is your gas gauge accuracy. You can get the fuel pumps by themselves from gm for around 140.00 for both pumps. So for the extra 110.00 you get a fuel sending unit.

There is a current auction going #150179585134 it has 100 left.

The last batch, I told a few people at the Vegas gathering and they bought a few. From what I know, a delaership bought them. More than likely Tom Henry.

I know the deal, but I have bought from the partsladi before and have no issues plunking down 250 or even 1,000 with them. I have no doubts they will follow through. I agree they should have it in hand.

I am very surprised that they didn't raise the price after a dealer bought most of their first 100.

To see what kind of a deal it was, I called up the place I had previously bought my Delphi fuel injectors from. They could get the part for $365. They seemed to think it would only take a few days to get, though perhaps when they went to actually order it from Delphi they'd find that to not be true.

Since I don't need one, I went ahead and jumped on this eBay one. Seems like an absolute steal for the assembly. I might swap mine out just to see if my gas gauge acts a little better afterwards. Mine doesn't do so well below about 1/4 tank. It'll show 1 or no bars, and the car will only fill up with about 16 gallons.
