Default value of OEM LT5 Crankshafts

my father aquired a few of these a couple years back in a group of parts he bought. we have no use for em as both his zr1's are long gone.

Anybody know what the going rate for these pieces is?

thanks

It would be fair to ask $500-600 for each...so long as they are in good condition.

i have paid $300 for a good used and $500 for an NOS crank. And i was the only one bidding that high.

that's a fair price, but they are a tough sell. I had a crank, rods, pistons with rings, liners, matched set for 1k for 2 years.

I finally traded it for some 95 rims and tires as I couldn't give it away!!

most folks don't need a crank, and the main bearings are standard.

if anyone wants to do an "offset grind" crank, I have one for $200

one bad journal, it could be fixed pretty ez.

tired of looking at it!!

Funny thing is that the cranks in these motors are forged, and thus they actually cost more to produce than the entire L98 motor in the base vette! I believe around 4-5K brand new for these cranks - problem is, as Ron said, they never give any trouble, so nobody needs one!
