People buy with their eyes much of the time... A car like this is bought by a certain type of buyer... like one of us here on the forum ! I could also see a custom car hobbiest buying it for a street rod project. Keep the drivetrain and suspension and sell the rest for parts... it could still bring 3 to 4K+ easily from the shell if a guy was patient.
