Hi everyone, last year I started thinking about ZR1,s and asked about them, and test drove one.
My avatar is an 88 Vette , about to be put away for the winter. But, now I'm the newest ZR1 owner here. I just bought one on Ebay and I have a good gut feel for the dealer and the car.
I'm crossing my fingers it's a decent driver because I'm going to drive it 1000 miles home as soon as I talk to my insurance agent.
PS Ive been looking and looking at Z06's and Lotus Elises, but this one just called out to me.
Can't wait to see it and drive it and make the ZR1 section fo the forum my new stomping ground.
Thanks for listening,

Welcome to the family! It's good to have another female around to tone down "the boys!"
My hubby and I obtained our ZR-1 a year ago last August and have received invaluable advice from these folks and the ones at the ZR-1 Net Registry. http://www.zr1netregistry.com/ - they also have a forum worth keeping up on! Glad you got bit by the bug!
Looks like you got the deal of the century.
The car looks fine, the price was simply spectacular.
Try to get as much documentation as possible, service/maintenance/previous owners phone number/address, etc.
Didn't see the owners documentation kit, be sure to ask for it. On second thought, demand that you get it. It's a box with a video tape, coffee table book, and some other stuff that belongs with the car. If the dealership doesn't have it, make sure to get the previous owners contact information.
Welcome to the Brother... err... Sisterhood of the Beast.
Welcome to "Top Fun School"....your first assignment is to totally enjoy your new ride. File a flight plan and fly under the radar(radar detectors are a must have!). Drive it like you stole it......cause girly you did!!
Welcome, be sure to ask all the questions you want on the Corvette Forum, there is always someone with the info you need.
Also, be sure to join the ZR-1Net, the forum is free and you can also pay a yearly fee for fringe benifits, but start with the free side when you have questions about parts, mechanics, when/where/how to fix something. Between these two forums you will never need outside advise, period.!
Now make it shine...
