Congrats the the purchase!! You will not regret it. Although you will regret selling it if you ever have to. So please don't sell it unless it is absolutely necessary. The forum members here are probably sick and tired of hearing my crying since I was stupid enough to put mine up for sale a couple of years ago.

And please try to ignore all of the ZR-1 haters out there. Believe me they are out there and most of them know absolutely nothing about the ZR-1 and it's history. One bit of advice, if you do not already have it, purchase a copy of "The Heart of the Beast" by Anthony Young:

http://www.amazon.com/Heart-Beast-An...e=UTF8&s=books

It is a great book. It chronicles the ZR-1 from very early development up to the end of production.

The Corvette ZR-1 is a very special car. I remember back in high school when I first learned of the ZR-1, it very quickly became my dream car. I vowed one day to own one. Well that day finally came and I owned my 91 for three unforgetable years. Then one day someone used some type of Jedi Mindtrick on me and I put a for sale ad in the classifieds here on the forum. That is one day I wish I could do over. I still have every image I ever took of that car on my hard drive. Some day I will get another ZR-1. But until then I want all of you to enjoy every single mile you put on yours.

Soon to be back in the saddle,
Jason

There is a saying that everyone involved with these cars needs to learn, "It's not the car, it's the people"
- Doug Johnson

It seems we forget this from time to time around here but these cars really do bring some of the best people i've ever met together. No matter where you are if you have a problem you're not alone. The network with these cars is amazing.

Welcome to the club
