How do you attach photos ? I want to put my car in some concourse shows and what Im told you can even have brake dust on the inside of the rims. Am I nuts?

Ray's a perfectionist so I know it is going to look great. I just picked up a kwick-lift last Sat. so if you want to do your car at my house you are more than welcomed. Remenber my garage is heated ( no cold floors) and I'll kick the wife's BMW out to make room for you. Just don't forget to do the black Z when your done hope all is well. PS Gotta talk to GIna's uncle about some new tires with the family discount

All new weather strip I presume, did you also pull the door panel/remove the outer window seal? What a job..., it really turned out nice. Did you spray the paint? Aprox. how much did it cost you?

Yep just clear coat on the underside. I tried to keep everything as original as possible. Not to go crazy with special paints, but to keep the originality and look sharp at the same time. Hand polished all aluminum then coated with ZoopSeal to protect the finish.

Not many people will get down on their hands and knees to admire the bottom of a car. This is one project that only the alignment guy and the occasional squirrel can ever enjoy. I have a 20x25 two car garage that was half filled with boxes of parts when I did this. Just had to wait for warm winter days and work on the driveway.

The outer door seals was a trial of patience. Not a project for the faint of heart. The paint was done by a friend at a local shop for $2500.

They will give you cost just tell them your my friend. He just brought a new Ferrai 599 gtb . Sick car. I told you I went to get all new tires on my z and after all is said and done he found me original gatorbacks. And they were priced right. Cost me a cup of coffee.
He has the goodyears for our cars. So you have a lift now. sweet....

Ray-
Looks great, I need to hang around guys like you and the others who post here. There's just nothing wrong in driving a "clean" car!

So whats with the black Z, yours too?

Just wondering, why you and so many others black-out the license plates. It must be for some type of security? but really? I always wonder why people do it. I lived in CA awhile(never again) and if "they" want it "they" take it, no matter what security systems you have. Actually, in my experience, your better off making it easier for them or it costs you more. Now living in MT, the natives don't think twice about shooting people on their property, and the law is behind you(here). Of course, if someone can hunt me down by my plate they can have the car(if I don't catch them)It's covered for full value. I just wonder what good it does if someone wants your car, they may very well laugh seeing it posted as such, but most likely know you car from seeing it "live" and never see the internet posts.

But nice job on the car.......

The black one is mine but Ray is more than welcome to borrow it anytime.( Mine is faster)

Ray, I will stop in at Crown next week and ask about tires. I'll be working in Middletown. You guys have motivated me to do a detail on mine.
Good Luck with the new job, I'll be looking for a plasma and surround sound setup after the holidays. I'll trust you to put a package
