Default Rolled over '90 Red on Red on eBay

*tsk*tsk*

Another one bites the dust.
Item #:300049362889

Vin#: 1G1YZ23J3L5802194
Motor/tranny gone, but looks like the back end is all there and in good shape.
It appears to have sat outside for quite a while.
How do you roll a 'Vette without scraping up the sides? The drivers side view mirror is broke and the passenger side isn't. But there's no scratches on the drivers door.
Also, how do you roll a 'Vette without the Airbag deploying?
If it did an end over end I would have expected more damage to the roof. Looks almost like it didn't touch the sides at all on the back half of the car. Interesting!!!

Which one of the brotherhood rolled this one?

A few things worth some money. But overall, not great.

The airbags will nto go off with out a set decelration point being met. And depending upon the rollover, it wouldn't go off.

It may have been put in a ditch.

Tell me more about this. Is this similar to the picture I've seen on some raceway where the driver shifted at the apex of a hilll and "Unloaded" the suspension?

This is what understeer did to my last playtoy. A 1989 Toyota MR2 Supercharged.
Third gear at 9 pounds of boost tends to make things want to stay going in a straight line. Straight out into a field and over a bunch of big rocks.

*sigh*

pretty much. I carried, what I thought was, way too much speed into a turn, decided to lift in the middle of it to slow down and the car swapped ends, rolled into a ditch, hit a tree ass first. This was with my L98.

The damage on this car looks almost like what I came across once in the mountains. We were coming back from Skiing and a car ahead of me hit Black Ice and went sideways and then gripped the pavement once it got off the Ice. Car completely flipped in the air with me sideways going around him. Talk about a hairy moment. Anyway his car came down and landed in a ditch (Lucky for him because the other side was a cliff). Only damage to the car was a broken driver side mirror and maybe the claw marks in the steering wheel he wouldn't let go of. Learned a valuable lesson that day about Black Ice.

You are bidding on 1990 CORVETTE ZR-1 rolling chassis without engine, transmission, computer and wiring harness. This car was in a light rollover and it appears to be repairable with no frame damage. Windshield frame and roof support are tweaked. THIS IS A TRUE 1990

Did he say light rollover?

I recived pictures of this car from the owner a few months ago and I saved the letter that had the pics in it but I cant find it now.

For one thing If it is the same car(the one i saw was from colorado) red on red and it looks like its the same car to me.

The windshield was folded almost all the way down to the dash so this "tweeked" windshield has been bent back up.

you dont get a rollover and the hood look like that and the glass not get destroyed.

BUT I Helped part out a forum members 91 that he rolled a few years ago and the passenger door looked just like this one the mirror took the blunt of the hit and the door caved in.

then the windshield frame crunched and the hailo took the brunt of the damage his hood didnt even look as bad as the red one on ebay.

and the drivers door on the one I parted out was perfect not a scratch the quarters were marked a bit but still perfect as was the rear end.

Oh and the red car the pics I saw it was stored outside and I didnt see any covering tarp car cover anywhere near the picture so im sure that interior whats left is screwed
enjoy!
