Default Fastest Street Vette in Texas Shootout **Date Change**

Hello

We have moved the date for the XTREME Corvette Club of Texas 4th Annual Corvette Showdown, "the Fastest Street Vette in Texas Shootout" from Sept. 8th back to November 3, 2001. This is due to a scheduling conflict with the Texas Motorplex in Ennis. The bonus about the date change is cooler weather.

We have put up a sign up board to show your intend on attending. This is not a prepay just to show everyone that you are coming. So check it out and see who is coming and add your name to the list.

All of the details on this event are located at http://www.xtremecorvettes.com under the Corvette Showdown section.

If you have any questions about this event please email us at dragracing@www.xtremecorvettes.com

Thanks

I would definitely like to come, but I don't have a roll bar in my car yet.
If I'm running mid-to-low 10's on the N20, what other "Safety" equip. do I need?

I believe all you will need is a 5 point roll bar, fire extinguisher, and a fire jacket. Some please correct me if I am missing something.

They let SW run last time I was there and I don't believe he has a roll cage in his ZR-1

SW and David Stone both ran last year during the time trials. Once they broke the sub 11's they were warned not to do it again. After that they were told to put the cars back on the trailers. Neither one of them competed in the heads up race because of this. :nono:

You may need a drive shaft loop for 10's too, but since the C5 has a built in tube then you probably won't need it.
