No regrets here. Still have 2 out of the three that I bought. Yes I still regret selling the red car. Great car's ! If I had a bigger garage most of the car's that I had would not have been sold.
Currently my white 415 is up for sale , but it will be pulled off the market soon.

There are many things I did in the past, especially when I was a hot headed young man, ruled by testosterone and bravado, and having absolutely no shame.
Those things I regret.
Buying the ZR1?
Nah.
Permagrin.

I bought my very first corvette in 1979 July. A 79 dk blue metallic w/ L48. Followed by a red 84 w/ 4+3 manual.
Then in 91 october got a deal on a brand new red/tan ZR-1 for $47,000 ($18000 discount!) which I drove for 5 years, put on 95,000 miles and totaled the car.
In repentance, I bought a BMW 850 and drove it for 4 years but could not get ZR-1 out of my mind.
Finally, I convinced my wife that I had no death wish and purchased a 94 blk/blk #256 ZR-1 w/ 25000 miles in 2000, my current daily driver.
For me this car gave me the best of both european idea of high performance (7200 rpm) and Detroit's idea of high performance (big cube, high torques).
Regret owning tow of these cars? NEVER!

I have a base model 91 Corvette, and my father recently passed away and left me his 91 ZR1. I know my father never regretted having the ZR1, and it is far and away a cooler car than my base 91.

I was more excited than if I saw a Lambo or some exotic car that you usually don't see too often they don't impress me that much.....

This the best car, as far fun to drive goes, I've ever owned. This was my first vette and wasn't sure if I'd really like it after owning numerous Chevy big block muscle cars. Now that I've got the vette bug I think if I was going to do it all over again I would probably purchase a C6. I say this only because I love horsepower and the look of the C6. I am sure when, not if, I pick up a C6 I'll no doubt find things I like much better about the C4.
Sorry, I thought you were talking about C4 in general. Just read the first part of the thread.

No Never Not...I do regret selling the 90 ZR-1..............Wish I could have kept both of them but I needed a DD and the C5 does make a good beater as for old blue it will be passed on when I pass on.

I got mine in June. The only thing i regret is that i didn't get one sooner. It only requires that I drive it hard, and that I maintain it well. No other vette stirs the senses like this one between 3k and 7.2k rpm.

No regrets here either. I have only owned mine since 2003 and it is my first and only Corvette. I love the uniqueness of this machine and even though I'm kind of on my own to work on it in Hawaii, the family here will always be there to help me out so I'm not worried.
