I got mine in Reno, they do not install, it's only a warehouse. The local Les Schwab in Carson City installed mine and did a nice job. It was about $75 to install and balance...

Good...bad...ugly...?
Their are a soft tire in 2 ways that I have noticed. 1. The obvious part first... the rubber is soft due to the low treadware rating of 160. Hey, when did a set of rear tires last past 16,000 miles on a ZR-1 anyway ?
At normal pressure, 32 lbs for me, they seem a bit softer at turn in as compared to BFG Comp TA's ( yes, I know how old they must be )
I ran a fresh set at 37 psi ( starting line pressure ) in the 150 class for the Silver State ORR...
After the fronts warmed up ( about 5 or 6 miles in ) they drove just fine.

Ive always looked at tires like that, they dont last long around here. I have 1000 miles on mine and already I can see the rears have more wear. Why pay big bucks unless youre on a road course all the time?
Since they are a little bit softer tire they work really well on the track too.
I had a fresh set on the track last time and they held up really well against victorracers and I think someone had some old slicks too...
Is the 315 the widest they offer? My rear wheels would look a lot better with 335...
Yeah.....locobob's 335's look really nice in the wells.
I think I'll order a set. My Yoko's are hard and they spin waaay to easily. Easy to impress (or scare) people behind me when I start sliding sideways and bring her back, buuuuut....not so good for real traction. Dang shame 'cause I have almost full tread on the Yoko's.

OK... so... does that mean when you get the Sumi's you will save the Yoko's for the Triathalon 2nd gear burnout contest ?
i had mine mounted about 2 weeks ago and im satisfied with them. they dont hook very easy on the street but if you are on the right cement they will hook. they are very loud when you spin them and i always get a loud 2nd gear scratch. im sure if you were at the track they would hook much better but for the money they are a very good tire.
i recommend them.
