Default Are painted tops available?

I have seen a few ZR-1s for sale that only have the glass top. I really want more shade than that (like total shade). Are tops available for these cars? I assume a top for any C4 will fit a ZR-1. And I am sure that I would have to have it painted to match, but are they out there? Thanks, Jim

If heat is your problem (like mine) I made a cardboard panel that is inserted into the clear top between the frame and the plexiglass. I haven't put mine back in yet, so I could probably trace a template for you.

In fact, if someone comes up with a semiflexible material that is more durable than the thin cardboard maybe we could market a few thousand of them.

88-96 C-4 will fit. Compare front mounting holes on front of top to new one to insure it's the right year. There is a static cling material that someone is marketing for the inside of the top to block the sun, but I don't remember who has them.

If you rub it does it make your hair stand up?

That's a great deal if it stays up and blocks the sun. I spent far more hours than this would have cost to get the right template shape, get a decent material, cut it so it could be installed by flexing and inserting under the frame, and trying not to damage it when I R&R it.

$30 is good....very good.
