Okay, I know this has been done before....but be easy on me. I have a C3, so I'm never in this section of the forum,(I can only dream about a ZR1) but I have a buddy that's setting here wanting to know something. He has a 90 ZR1, bright red with gray int. He has two different colored door panels....solid gray on the pass. side and gray and black on the drivers side. Is this nomal? He will appreciate any help. Thanks Larry

Yes, the door panels are different. Have a look a few cars on eBay, most people include lots of pics so it's not hard to find one with pics of both doors.
The funny thing is that I'd had my '90 ZR1 for probably 3 months before I even noticed the difference. My interior is the saddle color and the drivers door arm bolster is black while the passenger side is saddle. I hadn't seen the difference until somebody pointed it out.

Yup. My '91 has black and gray, and I never saw the difference until I was looking at some pics of a red/black Z for sale on this site....about a month ago.

Besides the physical difference in left and right door panels, I believe the left Black ones are the only ones that are one color. All others are Black and whatever the interior color is.
