Default Values of ZR-1's gone up ?

I was checking the ( well not sure now, think it was NADA ) online and it retail valued my '91 with 27K at just over $26,000, seems like last time I checked a year or so ago it was around $23,000 or $24,000.

Anybody got any comments ?

They are not going up although a recent magazine showed 90's +4%

It's going to be awhile yet before they start the climb. Although certain models will retain or gain % points. Each is a case by case basis. I have been offered more $ for my Z then I paid 4 years ago. Just depends on the market and the buyer.

Also you can't rely on NADA for value of ZR-1s. Take for instance 90's they can be $15,000 or $30,000 depending on overall condition, mileage, color etc.

Actually it was the online Kelly blue book, not the NADA site. But it does seem like it is higher than last time I checked.

Dont forget engine mods as well some will pay for it.

Like my DRM 500 had almost $24,000 spent on it at Douge rippie so if I sold it for $24000 you would be getting the ZR1 for free

which is what ill probably get for it

Unless some nice ones pop-up in the next month or so...I think they are going to go up. I can't find a single nice one out there except for the ones being held "hostage" by Rogers or H&H for WAY too much...

Just to let you know they are going up, the 405hp cars that is. H&H isn't holding anyone hostage one is sold and as for Rogers well he sold 3 95's two for $45,900 and the other for $49,900. The market is the market. How do you put a price on a car they only made 4 of them or 8 of them. If that color combo is the one that blows your skirt up you only have 3 or 7 other cars to choose from. Oh and lets hope those cars are as nice as they were. No hostages being taken here. Ask Mr. Demps about the WAY TO HIGH offers he has had on his cars The 95's are the next 67 435hp cars or as close as you can get for the last 40 years in Corvette Special High Performance.

This means that banks that use NADA or KBB will loan more money for the cars.

All you have to do is watch the websites. They don't do a (obo) or DICKHER (89X2) on the price. It sells for the advertised price.

I agree. Which 1 of 2 did you sell? The prices of the 95s seem to have gone up. If you don't think so, try to buy one. You'll find that there aren't too many for sale. Supply and demand will catch up eventually.

I heard you had a nice blue ZR-1 for sale.

I heard these rare colors are hard to find and they bring no more $ then a common color.

I am Amazed that you, as the owner of H&H, a top notch Corvette Store, would waste your time trying to locate such a rare color to make hardly any profit margin.

I really feel that the wave of the future is White, Those will bring 3x selling price especially if they have paintwork done on the front bumper

Guys I don't own H&H I just run the company, family company that is. The fact that its a family owned company and I am family has nothing to do with it. I am remarking on the market and using Rogers selling prices as an example and mine only because my name was in the mix. I don't like references to, we are asking WAY TOO MUCH. I can't help it if the market on the 95's has gone up in such a short time. We are talking about cars that are less than a handfull made. Its not like its Black/Black or Red/Red etc, higher production # cars. LowFlights comment while I know its not meant to be destructive is very unfounded. Look at so many premier Corvette dealers bringing the money out of these cars. If you owned one you wouldn't be bitching but celebrating. The 95 we have belongs to a very good customer and friend of over 25 years. I know the car like the back of my hand, I only give input due to my knowledge of the car.
