Default Aluminum rads.

Just wodering if anyone has installed a "BE COOL" aluminum rad in their Z. Summit lists one for $500.00. Ouite a bit cheaper than others I have looked at.

No personal opinions on that brand, but anything is considerably better than stock. Ive heard good feedback from others over the years.

My recommendation would be either Fluidyne or Ron Davis. I would LEAN towards the Ron Davis.

The BeCool rad fit in my car like a glove. Others had problems with the fit
Be Cool kept the 368 nice and cool during the summer with the AC on. Not so with the 415.

The Early Version of the Ron Davis radiator had fitment issues. They no longer have fitment issues.

I added the "Be Cool" and I am very happy with it!

ZR1Brian, did you notice a substantial improvement in cooling with the BeCool radiator? If so, can you give a range of improvement you noticed? Thanks.

You still have a limiting factor with the thermostat. Until you can do side by side comparisons under the same conditions it will be a little bit difficult to tell for sure what kind of cooling reduction is sustained. Your fans, speed, and ambient temp are all going to have an impact
However, I did notice a difference with the "Big Mouth" air scoop. I had a Ron Davis radiator already in place... fwiw
