Default Screw it - I'm starting the 415 tonight!

I haven't heard the rumble of 415 cids LT5 in over a month and a half, and it just isn't right!!!! So - tonight I'm firing that bitch up! Gotta run some hose outside so I don't kill myself - but I can't wait to hear that LT5 with some throttle blips - the snap of the exhaust..............ohhhhhhhyeah!!!

Did I mention that I HATE WINTER?????

If you're within 20 miles of me - listen closely around 8 pm!!!

Dwight, I hope to hear it all the way over here.
Too rainy this weekend for a ZR-1 jaunt, but last weekend, lemme tell you...nice, clear weather, and all that cold, dense, sea level air....

If my driveway weren't so steep, I could roll the car out and push it back in I guess. It's only been like a month for me, but I miss driving it every time the road opens up in front of me... Thankfully once it's back together I'll be able to drive it a little in the winter without problems. There's usually a few weekends in the 40-50's, and as long as it rains once or twice to wash the salt off the roads it'll be fine.

Heheh, I guess you need 4 nice days in a row! Do you drive the non-Callaway 'vette on a regular basis or in less than ideal weather? I mean I don't think of any 'vette as a beater, but in your collection a regular '89 certainly could be a daily driver.

Hello Dwight,

We had a high of 56 hear in good old Huskerland today. Not only did I start my 415, I also experienced a wonderful ZR1gasm while making a high speed pass of 170 +. It may rain tomorrow but Saturday is supposed to be dry and in the high 50's. My pal Wayne Hora (90 ZR-1)and I celebrate the season by having Christmas beers on the afternoon of Cristmas eve. We take turns driving our ZR-1's and this year I have to drive. All I will have is a one beer as I will have to be the driver. We have been very lucky as the weather has cooperated since we started the tradition three years ago. Rest assured the 415 will be riden like a rented mule if the weather is good.

Good luck up there in northland. I don't know how folks north of here can stand it. Nebraska is more than cold enough for me.

Joe
