Service ASR

Went for a 25 mile ride to run some old gas out and fill up for the winter nap....I fill up with gas,start it up and the Service ASR light comes on and stays on for the ride home ,(about 5 miles)....Turn it off and start it again and light is gone...Any ideas??.I just got this car registered and it only has 4.1k miles so Iam thinking Iam going to start seeing small stuff like this?? Also car seems to run fine with Power key on but how fast should it spool up to 7K in 2-3? My car doesnt struggle but its not a rocket either. How can I know my Power key is really ON? I must mention that Iam at 6,500 FT and my TB intake duct feels soft(squeezable)...I guess Iam going to have to wait for the spring to check alot of stuff because winter will be here soon, 2ft of snow expected in the next 2 weeks....I also have to put all new rubber on also...Kevin
