Thanks!
I made an offer on that car. The ad says OBO, I offered 15% lower than the asking price, and the owner was not interested at all. The car has minor delam, bose trouble, and a dark engine color. Probably should take the OBO off......he didn't even take my name. Oh well.
Thanks!

I am not taking sides on the value of the car. From sellers stand point $4500 is quite a bit more than most sellers expect to be talked down on an asking price. On the other hand, I don't think $25k is unexpectedly low price for a 11K mile 91 Zr-1 either. A car value is only worth what a seller will let it go for and a buyer will pay for. This is especially evident in low production/low mileage cars as in this case. (This is creates more price swings as well)
If you are interested in this ZR-1, you may want to slightly up you offer or wait some time or both. Someone else wanting that Quasar Blue may also buy it in the mean time.

Very well said. Yes I don't agree that $4,500 is a acceptable amount to complain about someone not taking your offer.
As for delam and bose problems get use to it. Its just something these cars have problems with. Don't expect the CD player to work either. These cars have problems with seat track, CD players, Bose Amps, Airbag lights, weather strips, FX3 shock motors, starters, lumbar bladders, etc. Its almost 15 years old
I don't think the guy is out of line at all in the high 20's. It is Quazar Blue and it is a 11,000 mile car. It even had the original Gator Backs. If you into originalality good luck on finding some of those tires in super nice shape. The engine paint is an easy fix.

Agreed......he may even have a higher offer currently. I wasn't complaining, negotiations start somewhere. I may very well look at it again in the future.
